1. About Retriiv

Retriiv ("we," "us") provides scan-to-return ID tags for golf clubs. Each tag has a QR code that, when scanned, displays the owner's phone number along with one-tap call and text buttons so a finder can contact the owner directly.

2. Accounts and registration

To register a Retriiv tag set, you provide your phone number and (optionally) a label for the set. We send a one-time 6-digit verification code by SMS to confirm you own the phone number.

You are responsible for keeping your phone number current. Retriiv does not currently support changing the phone number on a registered tag set — if you need to update it, the recovery path is to register a new tag set.

You may deactivate any tag set or delete your account at any time from your dashboard.

3. SMS messaging consent and disclosures

By submitting your phone number on the Retriiv registration or login page, you expressly consent to receive the following SMS messages from Retriiv:

• One-time verification codes at registration and on dashboard logins.
• Anonymous notes from finders who scan one of your tags and choose to send you a short text message via Retriiv's relay. These are one-way — you cannot reply to the finder through Retriiv. Rate-limited to one note per tag set per hour.

Additional disclosures:

• Message frequency: low. Verification codes are sent only when you register or log in. Finder notes are sent only when a finder scans your tag and writes one, at most once per hour per tag set.
• Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier.
• Supported carriers: US and Canadian carriers. International numbers are not supported at this time.
• Opt out: Reply STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to any Retriiv SMS to opt out. Opting out will stop verification codes (preventing future logins and registrations) and finder notes alike.
• Help: Reply HELP or INFO to any Retriiv SMS to receive support information.

Retriiv does not send marketing SMS. We do not send promotional messages. If a finder uses the Call or Text buttons on a Retriiv tag page, the call or SMS is sent directly from the finder's phone to yours — not through Retriiv. Only the optional "anonymous note" feature relays a message through our system.

4. Your phone number is shared with finders

This is the core function of the product, and you should understand it before registering:

When anyone scans a Retriiv tag belonging to your set, your phone number is shown on the resulting page along with one-tap Call and Text buttons. There is no way to use the tag for finder contact without sharing your number this way. If you do not want your phone number shared this way, do not register the tag.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Retriiv to:

• Harass, threaten, or impersonate anyone
• Register a phone number you do not own or control
• Interfere with the operation of the service (e.g., automated scraping, denial-of-service)
• Use Retriiv for any unlawful purpose

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms.

6. No warranty

Retriiv is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that any lost club will be returned, that any finder will scan a tag, or that any tag will remain physically attached to your clubs.

We make no warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Retriiv is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of clubs, loss of data, or loss of opportunity.

Our total liability for any claim relating to Retriiv shall not exceed the amount you paid for the tag set giving rise to the claim.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will update the "Last updated" date above and notify active users via SMS the next time they log in. Continued use of Retriiv after changes constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Retriiv is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
